In addition to “Lake Towada,” “Oirase Gorge,” and “Mount Hakkoda,” which are scenic spots representing Towada-Hachimantai National Park, we are looking for photographs that express the nature and tourist appeal of the area constituting Lake Towada, such as the “Jukai Line.”
This is the 37th contest this year, and the prize-winning works will be exhibited at 2 venues in Lake Towada. We will also use it on Towada City's tourist information sites and SNS as photographs that promote the appeal of the region.

The Towada Oirase Tourism Organization was established in March 2019 by many stakeholders, such as major transportation/travel-related companies with branches in Aomori Prefecture, local industrial groups, financial institutions, etc. by combining the abundant resources that this region is proud of, and operations began in April of the same year. On 2019/3/29, it was registered as a Japanese DMO candidate corporation, and on 2020/1/14, it was registered by the Japan Tourism Agency as a Japanese DMO. This organization is an organization that takes over the work carried out by the conventional Towada City Tourism Association and the tourism-related work carried out by the Towadako National Park Association, and is integrally responsible for tourism promotion in the Towada-Oirase area. Together with local businesses, the organization will develop tourism strategies (marketing) using data, advertising/introducing resources in the Towada-Oirase area, improving the environment that accepts domestic and foreign tourists, etc., and will actively develop activities aimed at creating tourism regions that satisfy customers and the sustainable development of local communities through tourism promotion.
